In this story of his life, Professor Nukunya traces his modest beginning at Woe, his hometown in the Keta District of the Volta Region, Ghana where he started schooling at age four all the way through to the University of Ghana. This is the institution that he became associated with for nearly fifty years as student, lecturer, researcher, professor, and university administrator. The autobiography provides a lucid and intriguing account of an academic operating in universities in Ghana. Author of many books and several scores of journal articles, Professor Emeritus Godwin Kwaku Nukunya is a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences and a former Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana and PhD from the London School of Economics. He has taught in several foreign universities including those in America, Britain and Nigeria.
