Launch of 65th Anniversary

The Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) has launched its 65th Anniversary on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at PAWA House in Accra. The anniversary is under the theme, “65 years of promoting the development of good literature in Ghana: Prospects and Challenges.” Nana Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, a former President of GAW delivered the keynote address. Mrs. Beatrice Okai, joined by the President of GAW, Francis Gbormittah, Nana Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, Mrs. Naa Kwaale Dove, Vice Chair of the GAW Advisory Board and Ms. Doris Kuwornu, Vice President of GAW, unveiled the Anniversary Logo, and launched GAW News, an e-newsletter, and GAW Fundraising Magazine. The jubilee will be marked in a number of ways throughout the year as follows:
